My name is Angie I have a wonderful husband and four great kids and we are located in Connecticut, I have wanted to get a mastiff for a long time. I was a foster mom for a mastiff with a bad pancrease and for all different types of dogs.
I have had pitbull terriors, rottweilers, mixed breeds you name it I have fostered it...While I was fostering I read up on getting a mastiff and spoke to a few breeders. I think it was about 2 years that I researched the breed I spoke with some breeders that were a very big help to me and gave me alot of information.
I ended up getting very sick in March of 2002 with many tests and years later it was found to be Multiple Sclorosis. Then I also found out I also have Lymes Disease which has led to many side effects and other things that crop up with the disease. Well when I got my mastiffs they became something that keeps me going on a day to day basis and not dwelling on my illness. They kept me from falling into a deep depression and moving on and getting myself better. I feel I owe alot to this breed and I am working really hard to try to better the breed in each breeding that I do.
